We share some exciting news! An important systematic review entitled 'Bixa orellana L. and its implications in human health: Perspectives and new trends' was published. This chapter, available in volume 77 of the special issue 'Studies in Natural Products Chemistry' (Elsevier publisher), addresses the evidence related to the pharmacological actions of BixO (Bixa orellana L.), including antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects that modulate the human health.
